Numerical modeling of Selanac debris flow propagation using SPH code
The Selanac debris flow is a very huge event triggered after extreme rainfall caused by Cyclone Tamara activity in the Republic of Serbia in May 2014. The Selanac case study was already modelling in different programs using Voellmy rheology assumptions like RAMMS software. In this paper research are focusing particularly on the process of debris flowing from initiation zone to main deposition area using Geoflow SPH two-phase model considering frictional rheology law. Main rheological parameters are back-calculated using also ...... profiles. According to geophysical ERT investigation, the highest depths of the deposits are about 20 m. Calculated final volume is about 495 000 m 3 while initial volume was computed to be 447 400 m 3 . The results of erosion depth at different time steps are given in Fig.4. SCG-XIII ...

Microemulsion with aromatic oil as cleaner media for electropolymerisation
Abstract Microemulsion polymerization is widely used as a cleaner alternative way to prepare intrinsically conductive polymers. We studied isothermal phase diagrams for microemulsions of the electropolymerizable heterocyclic aromatic oil 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT), aqueous LiClO4 solution and alkyl polyethoxylate. Our specific goal was to assess the effect of LiClO4 salt on the phase behaviour. The phase behaviour was characterized by stepwise titration and microscopic analyses. Here we found that the increase of the concentration of LiClO4 salt shifts the microemulsion region ...M. Ilić, F.-H. Haegel, S. Zlatanovic, N. Potkonjak, B. Simonovic. Natural two-dimensional pyrophyllite: Nanoscale lubricant, electrical insulator and easily-machinable material
Borislav Vasić, Radoš Gajić, Ivana Milošević, Žarko Medić, Marina Blagojev, Marko Opačić, Aleksandar Kremenović, Dejan Lazić (2022)Pyrophyllite, with the chemical formula Al2Si4O10(OH)2, is a naturally occurring and abundant van der Waals mineral belonging to the group of phyllosilicates. It is very soft, layered crystal used for sculpting and an excellent electrical and thermal insulator aimed for the operation at high pressure and temperature. Here, for the first time, two-dimensional (2D) pyrophyllite obtained by both mechanical and liquid phase exfoliation is presented and investigated at the nanoscale. The layered structure provides low friction coefficient of around ...Atomic force microscopy, Insulating properties, Nanofriction and wear, Natural two dimensional materials, Phyllosilicates, PyrophylliteBorislav Vasić, Radoš Gajić, Ivana Milošević, Žarko Medić, Marina Blagojev, Marko Opačić, Aleksandar Kremenović, Dejan Lazić. The influence of Al3+ion on porcine pepsin activity<i>in vitro</i>
The in vitro effect of Al3þ ions in the concentration range 1.7·1026M–8.7·1023M on pepsin activity at pH 2, via kinetic parameters and its electrophoretic mobility was evaluated. Kinetic study demonstrated the existence of an activation effect of Al3þ at pH 2 on pepsin molecule. Kinetic analysis with respect to concentrations of haemoglobin showed that Al3þ ions increase the maximal velocity (Vmax) and kcat values rather than apparent affinity for substrate (KS) implying the non-competitive nature of activation which indicated ...... activator concentration that gives a rate equal to half at a saturating concentration of activator, were found to be 8.82 + 0.90 „M, 8.39 + 0.76 „ M, and 8.05 + 0.48 „M respectively. Native PAGE electrophoresis shows the decrease in electrophoretic mobility of pepsin and confirms modification of the ...

Phase relations and physical indicators of municipal waste from old landfills in Serbia
Due to certain similarities of municipal waste and soil, usually for the determination of basic parameters of physical state, laboratory and field tests which are common in geotechnical investigations are used. It is often to construct an apparatus for special purpose to perform some specific laboratory and field tests. Therefore, different values of indicators of municipal waste physical state can be found in the literature. The basic reasons should be found in different definitions and methods that researchers use ...municipal waste, moisture content, unit weight, specific gravity, grain size distribution, porosityGeneral Computer Science... Back-arc underplating provided crustal accretion affecting topography and sedimentation in the Adria microplate
Paolo Mancinelli, Vittorio Scisciani, Cristina Pauselli, Gérard M. Stampfli, Fabio Speranza, Ivana Vasiljević (2021)Supported by evidence of deep crustal sources for the observed magnetic anomalies in Central Italy and by outcropping gabbros in the Croatian archipelago, we model the observed gravity and magnetic anomalies in the Central Adriatic Sea and surroundings. We suggest that the major magnetic anomalies in the area are related to a wide underplating and propose that this volume represents the first stage of the back-arc Adria continental breakup in Early Permian times. During the Palaeotethys-Adria collision, underplating has ...Paolo Mancinelli, Vittorio Scisciani, Cristina Pauselli, Gérard M. Stampfli, Fabio Speranza, Ivana Vasiljević.
