The optimization of auxiliary machinery in open-cast lignite mines: a case study of bulldozers
One of the most important prerequisites for the successful operation of the open-cast lignite mine is to carry out all the auxiliary works timely with the necessary quality. The most important and most commonly used auxiliary machines are bulldozers. Engaging time of bulldozers use is in direct relation with the coefficients of the time and capacity utilization of the continuous system for the excavation of coal and tailings, which indicates their importance. Rule-based Automatic Multi-word Term Extraction and Lemmatization
In this paper we present a rule-based method for multi-word term extraction that relies on extensive lexical resources in the form of electronic dictionaries and finite-state transducers for modelling various syntactic structures of multi-word terms. The same technology is used for lemmatization of extracted multi-word terms, which is unavoidable for highly inflected languages in order to pass extracted data to evaluators and subsequently to terminological e-dictionaries and databases. The approach is illustrated on a corpus of Serbian texts from ...... work we will concentrate on: Finalization of the web application; Improvement of the precision of correct lemma production (development of additional strategies to avoid offering of incorrect lemmas). For instance, our results showed that at the end we obtained just a few (11) lemmas in plural ...

Split-Desktop software for the analysis of fragment size distribution of blasted rock mass
Asbestos-Based Pottery from Corsica: The First Fiber-Reinforced Ceramic Matrix Composite
Asbestos-containing pottery shards collected in the northeast of Corsica (Cap Corse) and dating from the 19th century, or earlier, have been analyzed by SEM-EDS, XRPD, FTIR and Raman microspectroscopy. Blue (crocidolite) and white (chrysotile) asbestos fiber bundles are observed in cross-sections. Most of the asbestos is partly or totally dehydroxylated, and some transformation to forsterite is observed to occur, indicative of a firing above 800 C. Examination of freshly fractured pieces shows a nonbrittle fracture with fiber pull-out, consistent with ...... eliminate cosmic events and to increase the signal-to-noise ratios. Improving Document Retrieval in Large Domain Specific Textual Databases Using Lexical Resources
Large collections of textual documents represent an example of big data that requires the solution of three basic problems: the representation of documents, the representation of information needs and the matching of the two representations.
