Synergy between the mineral deposit exploration and geothermal resources assessment on the example of "Valjevo" boron and lithium deposit in Serbia
Nebojša Atanacković, Vladimir Živanović, Ana Vranješ, Sava Magazinović, Marinko Toljić, Ana Arifović, Branislav Potić (2023)Exploration of mineral deposits involves a collection of vast data sets on geological characteristics of the area. These data can largely contribute to the assessment of the geothermal potential, which can lead to an increase in the share of geothermal resources in the energy mix of the extractive industry and the local community. On the example of the "Valjevo" B-Li deposit, data on structural settings and previous hydrogeological investigations were combined with the results of resource drilling and geophysical ...... central part of the "Valjevo-Mionica" basin Results suggests that biggest part of the studied area has reservoir temperatures of around 50 *C. Maximal estimated temperatures are up to 65 "C in the area of the Kolubara fault and correspond with the zone where the Neogene sediments cover is estimated ...

Оцјена водопропусности понорске зоне Шуковићу (Цернићко поље) помоћу Лижоновог теста
One of the specificities of reservoirs forming in highly karstified terrains is reflected in the wide range of unknowns, specifically during reservoir formation, filling and operation. Unfortunately, despite complex research, many reservoirs constructed in karst terrains have problems with water losses from the reservoir to other aquifers due to ponor and ponor zones which are a common in the karst of Eastern Herzegovina. One of such zones is Šuković ponor located in the southern part of the Cerničko polje ...Петар Војновић, Саша Милановић, Љиљана Васић. Negative Impact of Backwater Levels of Danube River and its Tributaries to the Groundwater Regime in Meliorated Riverside Areas
This paper describes updated calculation methodology of Danube backwater impact, occurred as a consequence of “Đerdap I” hydropower plant operation, onto the meliorated riverside areas. This methodology is based on hydrodynamic analysis of groundwater regime (size, duration, level and inflow changes) and quantification of melioration areas impairment which is caused by “Đerdap I” hydropower plant operation. By comparing the groundwater regime elements, obtained by variant hydrodynamic calculation in mathematical models for natural – not backed up and actual – ...HPP ''Djerdap 1'', backwater influence, groundwater regime, hydrodynamic analysis, melioration area, drainage system, additional energy engagementPredrag Pajić, Uroš Urošević, Dušan Polomčić, Milan Dimkić.
