Keyword-Based Search on Bilingual Digital Libraries
This paper outlines the main features of Biblisha, a tool that offers various possibilities of enhancing queries submitted to large collections of aligned parallel text residing in bilingual digital library. Biblishsa supports keyword queries as an intuitive way of specifying information needs. The keyword queries initiated, in Serbian or English, can be expanded, both semantically, morphologically and in other language, using different supporting monolingual and bilingual resources. Terminological and lexical resources are of various types, such as wordnets, electronic ...... synonyms, hyponyms and hypernyms. Biblǐsa also uses various domain specific bilingual dictionaries and termbases. One of dictionaries used is “Dictionary of librarianship: English-Serbian and Serbian-English” [4]. Determining the Groundwater Balance and Radius of Influence Using Hydrodynamic Modeling: the Case Study of the Groundwater Source “Šumice” (Kikinda, Serbia)
A groundwater flow model was developed to simulate groundwater extraction from the public water supply source of the City of Kikinda. The hydrodynamic model includes the municipal groundwater source of Kikinda (Šumice and the Jezero Well), but also an extended area where there are groundwater sources that provide water supply to three factories: (MSK, TM and LŽT - Kikinda). Hydrodynamic modeling, based on the numerical method of finite differences will show the groundwater balance of the sources in the ...Dušan Polomčić, Dragoljub Bajić, Jelena Zarić. Dehydroicetexanes in sediments and crude oils: Possible markers for Cupressoideae
Hans Peter Nytoft, Geir Kildahl-Andersen, Sofie Lindström, Frode Rise, Achim Bechtel, Danica Mitrović, Nataša Đoković, Dragana Životić, Ksenija A. Stojanović (2019)Two previously unidentified dehydroabietane isomers were isolated from Miocene Serbian lignite and Rhaetian (Late Triassic) coaly mudstones from South Sweden and characterized using NMRspectroscopy as cis- and trans-dehydroicetexane. Both have a 9(10?20)-abeo-abietane or icetexane skeleton, consisting of a 6-7-6 tricyclic framework with seven carbons in ring B instead of the usual six in common diterpanes of the abietane-type. Dehydroicetexanes can be detected using GC-MS-MS in m/z 270?146 chromatograms without interference from dehydroabietane or other isomers. Dehydroicetexanes are often abundant ...... fresh and fossil wood, and is often abundant in low rank coal and in some oils having a terrigenous origin (Simoneit et al., 1986; Heppenheimer et al., 1992; Otto et al., 1997; Stefanova et al., 2005; Tuo and Philp, 2005; Haberer et al., 2006). Asbestos-Based Pottery from Corsica: The First Fiber-Reinforced Ceramic Matrix Composite
Asbestos-containing pottery shards collected in the northeast of Corsica (Cap Corse) and dating from the 19th century, or earlier, have been analyzed by SEM-EDS, XRPD, FTIR and Raman microspectroscopy. Blue (crocidolite) and white (chrysotile) asbestos fiber bundles are observed in cross-sections. Most of the asbestos is partly or totally dehydroxylated, and some transformation to forsterite is observed to occur, indicative of a firing above 800 C. Examination of freshly fractured pieces shows a nonbrittle fracture with fiber pull-out, consistent with ...... ent (the fibrous behavior of the length of the fiber pull-out reaches the millimeter range) was selectively searched for, and at that time the toxicity of asbestos fibers was not recognized. This demonstrates that the use of natural eco-friendly products (clays and stones) and their traditional ...

Extraction of Bilingual Terminology Using Graphs, Dictionaries and GIZA++
Availability as a dimension of energy security in the Republic of Serbia
Boban Pavlović, Dejan Ivezić (2016)There is a range of modern approaches and models in literature for the evaluation and determination of energy security, which are based on different parameters and indicators. For most of them, a common characteristic is emphasizing the avail ability of energy, as an important dimension for ensuring energy security. In this paper, concise overview of Serbian energy sectors is given and appropriate energy indicators are defined and determined. Selected indicators provide insight into the main components that characterize availability ...Boban Pavlović, Dejan Ivezić. Improving efficiency of thermal power plants through mine coal quality planning and control
