Geochemistry of neutral mine drainage at sulfide deposits ‒ example of the „Grot“ Pb-Zn mine, South-Eastern Serbia
Koncentracije metala u ovim vodama (cinka, olova, barijuma, bakra i hroma) generalno su niske i većina uzoraka voda ispunjava kriterijume ...podzemne vode, kisele rudničke vode, hidrogeohemijski faktori, metali, PHREEQC modeliranje, indeks saturacijeSnežana Kretić, Jana Štrbački, Nebojša Atanacković. Groundwater as an important resources in emergency situations of the Republic of Serbia
Boris Vakanjac, Radoje Banković, Vesna Ristić-Vakanjac, Saša Milanović, Ljiljana Vasić, Saša Bakrač, Nikola Kozić (2024)Groundwater is a renewable resource wholly or partially protected from external influences (pollutants) by nature. Currently, about 75% of the population of the Republic of Serbia meets its water needs by using underground water. Hence, this water represents an essential strategic resource of our country; according to data from the Water Management Foundation of the Republic of Serbia (VOS, 2001), water from existing sources is used in quantities of about 23 m3/s. As 67.13 m3/s is the estimated potential ...Boris Vakanjac, Radoje Banković, Vesna Ristić-Vakanjac, Saša Milanović, Ljiljana Vasić, Saša Bakrač, Nikola Kozić. Surface functional groups and degree of carbonization of selected chars from different processes and feedstock
Marija Ilić, Franz-Hubert Haegel, Aleksandar Lolić, Zoran Nedić, Tomislav Tosti, Ivana Sredović Ignjatović, Andreas Linden, Nicolai D. Jablonowski, Heinrich Hartmann (2022)The knowledge ofthe structural and chemical properties of biochars is decisive for their application as technical products. For this reason, methods for the characterization of biochars that are generally applicable and allow quality control are highly desired. Several methods that have shown potential in other studies were used to investigate two activated carbons and seven biochars from different processes and feedstock. Savanović, Nataša Tomić, Aleksandar Kremenović, Maja Šćepanović, Mirjana Grujić-Brojčin, Jovana Ćirković, Stevan Armaković (2023)Due to the inability of conventional wastewater treatment procedures to remove organic pharmaceutical pollutants, active pharmaceutical components remain in wastewater and even reach tap water. In terms of pharmaceutical pollutants, the scientific community focuses on -blockers due to their extensive (over)usage and moderately high solubility. Savić (2023)Recently, nanocrystal dispersions have been considered as a promising formulation strategy to improve the bioavailability of the deuterated pyrazoloquinolinone ligand DK-I-56-1 (7‑methoxy-2-(4‑methoxy-d3-phenyl)-2,5-dihydro-3H-pyrazolo[4,3-c]quinolin-3-one). In the current study, the freeze-drying process (formulation and process parameters) was investigated to improve the storage stability of the previously developed formulation. Different combinations of lyoprotectant (sucrose or trehalose) and bulking agent (mannitol) were varied while formulations were freeze-dried under two conditions (primary drying at -10 or -45 °C). The obtained lyophilizates were characterized in terms ...... National Science Foundation, Division of Chemistry (CHE- 1625735 to JC).
