Experimental production of K-rich metasomes through sediment recycling at the slab-mantle interface in the fore-arc
Sediment contribution to the mantle is the key step for the generation of orogenic magmatism to produce its isotopic and geochemical inventory. Even though they are exceptional for the post-collisional settings, there are worldwide examples of arc-related ultrapotassic mafic magmas which require complex multi-stage processes along with sediment melting e.g. in Italy or Pontides of Türkiye. The origin of Na-alkaline lavas revisited: new constraints from experimental melting of amphibole-rich metasomes+lherzolite at uppermost mantle pressure
We present a new experimental dataset for reaction experiments between natural amphibole-clinopyroxene metasomes (hornblendite) and synthetic lherzolite that produced Na-rich alkaline melts. Experiments were conducted at 1, 3 and 4 GPa and 1000–1300 °C. The generated melts range from foidite over basanite to phonotephrite. At 1 GPa between 1000 and 1100 °C amphibole decompression-breakdown products generate a phonotephritic melt. Among the breakdown components rhönite was found to be stable up to 1100 °C and 1 GPa. Sinteza i karakterizacija vanadata alkalnih metala sa elementima retkih zemalja
Anđela Jovanović (2024)Predmet i cilj pisanja ovog rada su sinteza i karakterizacija vanadata alkalnih metala sa elementima retkih zemalja. Prilikom ovih istraživanja, ispitivan je sistem REE2O3–V2O5–KF, gde REE predstavlja trovalentni katjon izabranih elemenata retkih zemalja (Y, Sm, Eu, Gd, Er, Yb). Kontaktni metamorfizam gornjokrednih sedimentnih stena Rudnika
Kostić N. Bojan (2021)Kontaktni metamorfizam gornjokrednih sedimentnih stena na planini Rudnik ispitivan je na uzorcima iz pet bušotina. Definisano je šest varijeteta krednih stena (protolita) koji čine dve litološke jedinice izgrađene od klastičnog, karbonatnog i klastično-karbonatnog materijala. Vulkanskom aktivnosti na Rudniku formirana su vulkanska tela koja se utiskuju duž slojevitosti sedimentnih stena, a neka ih presecaju u vidu dajkova. Istraživanja su izvedena u okviru sistema SiO2–REE2O3–XF, gde REE predstavlja trovalentni katjon elementa retkih zemalja (Sc, Y, Sm, Eu, Gd, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu), dok X predstavlja jednovalentni katjon alkalnih metala (K, Cs).
